The European Union has announced the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) certificate price for the third quarter of 2026 at €82.32. The European Commission has also provided updates on certificate purchasing procedures scheduled to begin in 2027, emissions calculation methodologies, reporting obligations, and the 50-tonne de minimis exemption threshold.
